Before Furniture Hero became a business, I was already refinishing and transforming furniture for my own home. I enjoyed taking something worn, outdated, or overlooked and bringing it back to life. When I was given the opportunity to pursue an apprenticeship in furniture repair and restoration, I discovered something much bigger: furniture doesn't always need to be replaced. It often just needs the right person to restore what makes it special.

That's what became the foundation of Furniture Hero.

Over the years, I've learned that the furniture I work on isn't just wood, leather, fabric, and finish. It's the dining table where a family has shared countless meals. It's the chair that's been in the family for years. It's the piece someone searched for months to find. Sometimes it's simply a high-quality piece that someone doesn't want to throw away just because it has picked up a few scars along the way.
